Brush Cleansing Palette | Real Techniques

real techniques brush cleansing palette review

If you hate brush cleaning, then you're gonna love this latest release from Real Techniques. The Brush Cleansing Palette claims to clean your makeup brushes effectively and quickly limiting that monotonous task loathed by many of us.

Brush cleaning is a process that I never look forward to doing. Who does eh? I managed to have a little play around with this whilst at the course and knew straight away it was to be a future purchase as it was a tool desperately in need.

Eyeshadow Fix Primer Matte: Zoeva

                 zoeva eyeshadow primer fix

Under my microscope today is an eyeshadow primer from Zoeva. Zoeva is German brand that has a bit of a cult following due to their affordable quality makeup brushes and fabulous eyeshadow palettes.

I'm sure, if you're like me, I'm always on the look out for a budget priced alternative to my higher end one from Urban Decay, so I thought I'd to give this primer a go. Finding a bullet proof eye makeup primer is crucial for me, as I want my look to last all day. At the time of purchase, I was able to buy this flesh coloured matte formula here for around £5. You can now purchase this direct from Zoeva as they ship worldwide.

My Skincare: Judith Williams: Part 2

Hello everyone!

My gosh! This has been a long post. Are we ready for the next instalment?

Neck and Décolleté Cream 100ml | £28.00 |  From Cura Beauty

Another firm favourite. How do I put this? It's amazing! My neck area had been taken a bit of a battering in the past due to being a sun worshipper ( "Yeah I know!") and was is in dire need of some TLC. A little goes along way as you don't need much.
It's rich and super moisturising and was fast on absorption. I definitely noticed the difference in the tone of my neck area as it was more even and looked less crepey.

My Skincare: Judith Williams Life Long Beauty : Part 1

During the colder months, I've been really enjoying using a skincare brand that is not available to purchase in any stores; only from QVC UK and Cura beauty.com. As there are quite a few products featured I shall be publishing 2 posts.

Last Winter, my skin really needed a pick me up; my cheeks felt dry, dehydrated and lacked firmness. I'm not normally one to stick to a particular skincare brand as I tend to sway towards offers and promotions from drugstore. As I'm now past 40, I began to see little change in my skin after using these products so felt the need to invest in a more premier line. I was totally sold by this one, after witnessing the presenter's amazing skin.

Endless Summer Bronzer: Too Faced

                      too-faced-bronzer-review

Winter it seems, to last for an eternity here on the coast and unfortunately, we've got another couple of months of the cold season. However, for the past couple of days, the sunshine's been out reminding us of how uplifting it can be, leaving me feeling the warmer months cannot arrive soon enough.

There was once a time many moons ago, where a bronzer would only be used during the warmer months. Thankfully, those days are long gone, as we recognise now that our skins desperately need some added warmth during these colder months.

Eyeshadow Palettes: The Favourites.

                  Favourite eyeshadow palettes

It's no secret that I'm totally obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. Unfortunately, having this weakness has done nothing but encouraged my collection to grow. Thankfully, there aren't that many that I don't love, but do have a few that will reach out to more often than not.
I thought I'd share with you some of my favourites; however, if you're anything like me, there's a strong possibility it'll pretty much be neutrals. Let's see if these are your favourites too!

How to prevent your eyeliner from smudging.

                       Duraline-Inglot

Hello, beauties!

Do you know? It's probably one of the most common mishaps people endure with eyeliners. We've all been there haven't we? You've caught yourself resembling Gene Simmons whilst drifting past a shop window. "Oh for pete's sake!" you sigh. Then it's a quick wipe, pretending your eyes are watering, hoping no one noticed, cursing to yourself, another bleed'in failure I've purchased!

Solstice Highlighter Palette and Lipstick: Sleek Makeup

                 sleek solstice highlighter palette review

Hi, everyone!

It's been a long while since I last purchased an item from Sleek. (Perhaps too long!) Reason being, I've pretty much  been too preoccupied drooling over the more higher-end products, which unfortunately meant Sleek had been knocked off my radar. I'd bought the Solstice Highlighter Palette from Superdrug after Christmas whilst during the mayhem of the Boxing Day and pre New Year sales, which now seems a very long distant memory.

15 Affordable Brands That You May Not Have Heard Of

There's nothing more satisfying, than finding a beauty buy that creates that pop of magic for next to nothing. Don't you just love it when you find something that works just for you? I do too!
Don't get me wrong, I love my premier brands and that feeling of luxury extravagance that accompanies it. But not everyone can afford these all the time, if at all. Luckily, makeup can be achieved regardless of budget and so it should be too!
