Simple Shadows For Lazy Eyes

Cream Eyeshadows, Mac Pain Pot, Bobbi Brown, Maybelline Colour Tattoos

Maybelline Color Tattoos Creme De Nude, Pink-Gold, On and On Bronze Eternal Gold

Tiredness for me is nothing more than a crippling pain in the backside! Whilst juggling a part-time job that requires me to work till "stupid o'clock", blogging, and looking after my family, I need it like a hole in the head! It can affect me in all sorts of ways, behaving like a bear with a sore head being the most common or a spending half the time falling asleep being another. Lately, I've been feeling that tired, just to walk to the next room can take a considerable amount of effort. Hopefully, my batteries will soon be recharged as I'll be away on holiday next week. It can't come soon enough!

Pixi Glow Tonic: Is It Worth The Hype?

Pixi Glow Tonic Review

Ever since beauty vlogger/blogger and skincare guru Caroline Hirons gave this product the "nod," scores of fans as well as fellow beauty bloggers have produced a lot of noise with regards to Pixi Skincare in general, and I'm beginning to see why. So if you ever wondered, "what could possibly be the most reviewed and hyped up skincare product in the last 18 months or so?" then look no further than this one, as its following is "huge" and has been reviewed time and time again. Much to the dismay of us all, beauty outlets can't keep enough of this stuff as no sooner are the shelves filled they are left stripped bare once again!

New beauty trend! Have you heard of Draping?

Photo from Marc Jacobs at Sephora.

No, we're not talking curtains here! We've had contouring, sunstripping, non-touring, and now we have draping! So it's time to relive the 70's/80's, when this trend was last seen draped (if you pardon the pun) on the cheeks bones of many. Just like other past makeup trends, this one's been thrown back into the spotlight with a new name, creating the latest buzz in the makeup world.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation & Step 1 Radiant Primer : Review

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation & Step 1 Radiant Primer

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation & Step 1 Radiant Primer

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Radiant Primer Yellow

Considering it's been relatively warm-ish here in the UK, the weather in general has been pretty dismal to say the least! I'm really hoping that the long lengthy spells of the hot Summer sun will finally arrive in time for when our kids break up from school.

During this warmer spell, I've been getting much acquainted to the much-hyped Make Up For Ever Ultra HD - a foundation I stumbled upon whilst at IMATS back in June, which I have to say, is one of the best purchases I've made this year! I'll be honest, I only really bought these as it was on such a good offer of £17.00 compared to the usual price of £29.00 for the foundation and £14.00 compared to £24.00 for the primer.

In case you wasn't aware, the Ultra HD is the replacement product of the original HD foundation which left a lot of fans unhappy! I never got the opportunity to use the original as we've haven't had the pleasure of enjoying Make Up For Ever for very long, here in the UK.

Discovering Elemis Skincare

Elemis 6 Piece Luminous Skin Set

Award winning British skincare brand Elemis have been working their magic with anti-aging products for quite a number of years now. Originally, QVC was your only destination to gain access to this brand but after some years later that all changed when they finally set up shop in our Debenhams stores across the country. I've wanted to try these for so long now, as I was left intrigued by the claims from their dire hard fans who swear by. That opportunity finally arose back in May this year when I purchased this collection just in time before Summer arrived; So I've had plenty of time to test this out.

Review | Nyx | Lip Lingerie

I finally have them and they're mine!

The whole of the UK including the blogosphere has been going "absolutely bananas" since Nyx arrived in our larger Boots stores earlier on this year. We've all become totally obsessed by them, and this crazy obsession has done nothing but encourage me to buy an absolute shed load from them, especially the lippies. But I think it's fair to say, there were some of us that was left slightly disappointed when the Lip Lingerie didn't show up on our new glitzy stands, and would have to also agree, these will probably be the closest we'll ever get to the infamous Kylie Lip kits.

I had to order mine online to then have them delivered to my local Boots pharmacy; which to be fair, is only a 5mins drive up the road. Anyway, enough of the drivelling. Let's get on an admire the shades of these Lip Lingerie's, shall we?

Great Bronzers To Help You Bronze And Glow!

Clockwise: TheBalm-Betty-Lou Manizer, Nyx-Matte Bronzer, Too Faced -Endless Summer,
TheBalm- Bahama Mama, Wet n Wild -Reserve Your Cabana

It's officially Summer! Which can only mean one thing; it's time to whip out those bronzers! Although you would have to agree, most of us tend to use these all year round. I've decided to give the contouring trend a back seat for a little while and embrace the bronze, plus, dabble in bit of sun stripping, which should help to give the ole boat race that much-needed Sunkist look.

I know, there are tons of cracking bronzers out there. But I thought I'd share the ones I've been wearing most. In my opinion, these are all great formulas that share that beautiful bronzy glow we're all after without giving you that dirty grubby look!

Summer Bright, Summer Lips

Summer Lip Wear - Kiko, Nyx, Bobbi Brown, Laura Geller

I don't know about you;  I'm done with waiting for Summer to arrive. We saw June rain on us a lot! And there's been very little improvement since we've arrived in July. So, despite the rubbish weather, I've decided to finally declare it's Summer, with or without the sunshine! It's just going to have to be!

So, other than digging out the bronzers, I've also put together my little Summer lip stash as I feel it's time to finally ditch those Nudes for a bit! During these warmer months, I tend to gravitate towards more peachier and coral shades, as I feel that they really do brighten and liven up the look, and can also contrast beautifully against tanned skin.

Review | Recently Purchased Tarte Collection

Tarte Collection Including: Showstopper Palette, Amazonian Clay Foundation

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation, Rainforest of the Sea Lipsplash

Hi, everyone!

You may remember I showed you a great value TSV Tarte collection that I'd purchased at the beginning of the month from QVC UK. So, within these last few weeks, I've managed to have a good pIay around with these although the out come took a little longer than expected. I originally bought these items at a set price but can be sold separately from either QVC UK or from Tarte in the US, however, do check the customs and shipping fees first! The set itself is still available but is back at the original price of £55.00 which you can purchase from here.
